Bungalows are about personality— your personality. Most of our clients purchase stock plans as a starting point, then add their own touches.

Historically, modified plans retain 75% to 85% of the original base plan. By taking advantage of a base plan, you realize a huge savings over the budget of designing a custom home from scratch. The cost of modifying a base plan is generally at least the same as (and in addition to) the base plan.

Process You choose a base plan. We discuss required modifications, set a schedule, and provide you with a proposal. You purchase the base plans (this serves as a deposit), then pay the balance on upon completion of your plans.

Budget $1800 (deposit) for the base plans, which includes four sets of bond prints. $30 for each additional set of bond prints. (reproducible sets are an option, but costs vary. Please contact our studio for current pricing.) Modifications typically run at least $1800. Here are some sample modifications and their estimated cost:
